I love all forms of photography but I particularly enjoy and specialise in portraits and pets, particularly dogs. As you can see from the images on this page I have a passion for black and white. They’re uncluttered, timeless and always look stunning when hung as wall art in your home. But I love colour as well if the colour enhances the image.
Portraits aren’t just about taking an image; the main ingredient to a successful portrait is personality and it’s my job to bring out your personality and capture it in your images.
Understandably many people freeze up in front of a camera or don’t want to be in front of a camera for a variety of reasons but there’s no need to worry. I don’t enjoy the posed cheesy images, I like them to be natural, so prior to your shoot we’ll get to know each other via email or phone so that you know exactly what to expect and on the day it will be a breeze.
I’m a really down to earth person and I’m great with kids (I was a child protection consultant working in schools nationally and internationally for many years).
I love taking images of pets, particularly dogs, they’re such characters with their own personalities. They can be a real challenge at times but with experience and patience (and their favourite treats) the results speak for themselves.
I have loved photography for over 20 years. As a pet and portrait photographer in Lincolnshire I’m an easy-going, pragmatic person and would love to take images which give you that wow factor, that you can be proud to showcase as art on your wall and show off to friends and family.
I don’t have a studio; I prefer to come to your home or take your portrait or family images on location at a time to suit you. I’m a pragmatic person, we’re all busy with family and work so evening and weekend shoots are no problem.
